JONES, JR., ROBERT C.
Robert C. Jones, Jr., 90, of Summerville, formerly of Aiken, SC, and husband of Lorraine M. Jones, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at The Bridge Assisted Living, The Elms,
2590 Elms Plantation Blvd., North Charleston, (843) 553-6342 on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7 o’clock.
Mr. Jones was born July 27, 1918 in England, Arkansas, son of the late Robert C. Jones, Sr. and Erma W. Jones. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a decorated WWII Veteran. He was a retired Executive with General Motors.

Survivors, including his wife Lorraine, are one son; Robert C. Jones, III (Jacqueline) of Summerville, one daughter; Karole Lynne Jones Confer (Terry) of Mound, MN and Gold Canyon, AZ, four grandchildren; Carrie Jones Maas of Summerville, Robert C. Jones, IV (Victoria) of Summerville, Kelly K. Confer Govrik (Greg) of Maple Plain, MN and Hallie J. Confer Frandrup (Jason) of Mesa, AZ, and eleven great grandchildren; Justin T. Maas, Bryan A. Maas, Katelyn R. Bruening Jones, Robert C. Jones, V, Andrew P. Jones, Lauren A. Jones, Justin G. Govrik, Sydney L. Govrik, Nicholas O. Govrik, Hannah J. Frandrup and Jaxon R. Frandrup.
