WORCESTER-Viola E. “Ola” (Crafts) Fleming, 89, died May 1, 2009 at Autumn Village in Worcester. She was born in Worcester January 30, 1920. Her husband was the late James Fleming to whom she was married to for 54 years until his death in 1997. She leaves her twin sons, James and his wife Suzanne of Westford, Thomas and his wife Taffy of Worcester, and a daughter Kathleen Splaine and her husband Bruce of Plymouth. She is survived by six grandchildren; Kevin, James, Brian, Mark, Thomas and Terri and 16 great grandchildren. She also leaves her close friend and sister-in-law Marjorie Fleming of Northborough.
She was a graduate of North High School and was employed by State Mutual of America until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed Cape Cod.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 9:30 AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury.
