Mary Elizabeth (Bump) Thomas, 46, passed away on April 30th, 2009.
She was employed as a security officer at Mohegan Sun Casino. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, visiting with her family, motorcycling, sports, and adding to her collection of tattoos.
She will be remembered for her big heart, and her willingness to help others, her big blue eyes and long lashes.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald S. Thomas Jr.; her children, Veronica A. Schultz & her husband Jeffrey, Ronald “Sonny” Thomas III, and Rhonda “Girdie” Thomas all of Norwich; sisters Deborah Bump of NY., and Annie Vuto of FL; her father, John Bump & wife Anita; two grandchildren, Violet and Lyla; sister-in-law, Rhonda Thomas, and brother-in-law, Eric Thomas; and 4 step-siblings William, Dean, and Robert Warner and Sheri D'Erocle. She will be greatly missed.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Wednesday from 3-4:45pm, immediately followed by a service at 5pm. The Rev. Doretta M. Colburn will officiate.
