Annabel E. (Rogers) Toomey, 63, died April 30, at her home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Matthew A. Toomey. Raised in Stoughton. she was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1964. Mrs. Toomey was a resident of Stoughton for several years, previously living in Bridgewater. She worked at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in the Medical Records Department for several years. She also owned the store “Tables and Things” in Natick for several years and was the owner of a cleaning company. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and collecting swans.
She is survived by her daughter Josie Amaral and her husband Donald Jefferson of Bridgewater. She was the stepmother of Steven Toomey of Norwood and Lisa Kamprath of FL. She was the sister of Kenneth Spritzer of Stoughton, Karen Spritzer of CA and the late Karl Spritzer. She was the grandmother of Brianne Kamprath.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Donations in her memory may be made to American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, 02451.
