Mark A. Vallee, 43, of Westport passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston after a long illness. He was the husband of Karen (Gonsalves) Vallee of Fall River.
Born in Fall River, son of George “Jerry” and Elizabeth A. (Covel) Vallee of Westport, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. A graduate of Westport High School, he had previously worked for New England Power as a laborer. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church. Mr. Vallee was a motorcycle enthusiast and had a great sense of humor and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He also loved his cat "Fat Shady".
Including his parents, he is survived by a sister: Kerri L. Vallee-Hart and her husband Kenneth of Westport and 2 nephews: Logan C. Vallee and Peyton A. Vallee.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, May 4, 2009 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
