Obituary

WORCESTER-Bronislaw J. Arnowski, 85 of Worcester, died Thursday, April 30 in UMASS Medical Center. He leaves his beloved wife of 61 years, Shirley E. (Dee) Arnowski; two daughters, Karen S. Arnowski and Debra A. Nawn and her husband Michael , all of Auburn and two grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Andrew and Taylor Nawn. He also leaves a sister, Nellie Sabourin of Northbridge and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three sisters, Eva Murphy, Anna Girouard and Helen Arnauskas and two brothers, Walter Arnauskas and Peter Arnowski.
He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Agnes (Alukute) Arnauskas and was an Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Arnowski worked for the City of Worcester in the Department of Public Works for many years retiring in 1980. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 5 from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. with a Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Burial will be in All Faith’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday, May 4 from 4-7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Michael J.
