Sebastian “Buster” Mogavero of Medford, died Saturday, after a brief illness, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was 79.
Mr. Mogavero was the son of the late Paul and the late Concetta (Amoroso) Mogavero.
Buster worked as a quality control manager with SPIR-IT Inc., Wakefield. He was with the firm for 51 years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Phyllis (Milano). He leaves two daughters, Linda Lucarotti of Medford, Paula Cacciola and her husband Peter, both of Medford; grandsons Paul Lucarotti, Michael Cacciola and Mark Cacciola. He also leaves three sisters: Jennie Parisi and her husband Frank of Everett, Camille Fischer of Quincy, Elena Pantano and her husband Albert of Revere and was the the brother in law of Patrick Milano of Medford.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
His funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 55 Winthrop Street, Medford, Wednesday at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
