WORCESTER-Ramon “Ray” V. Frias, 46, of Worcester died Monday, April 27th in Bay State Medical Center, Springfield.
He leaves his two daughters, Celina and Abigail Frias both of Worcester and their mother, Sheila Harrity; his parents, Marcelino and Marcelina (Jaime) Frias of Worcester; three brothers and their wives, Luis and Doretha Frias of Leicester, Pedro and Maria Frias of Worcester, and Julio Frias and Cheryl Stearns of Northborough and several nephews and nieces.
Mr. Frias was born in the Dominican Republic. He was a graduate of Anna Maria College and a former executive director of the Better Business bureau. In the 1990’s Ray served as the board President of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a board member of Seven Hills Charter School and was a member of the United Way. He was an avid golfer.
The funeral is Saturday, May 2nd in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in All Faith’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, May 1st from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home with a service at 6:00 PM.
