Frank Zonfrelli - 92, of Dedham died April 20, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne (Galante) Zonfrelli.
Born in Dedham, he was the son of the late Dominic and Rose (Constantino) Zonfrelli. He was a retired rigger for General Dynamics of Quincy. He was a World war II, Navy Veteran and a member of the Dedham Sons of Italy, Torre dei Passeri of Quincy, Dedham Retired Mens Club and an usher at St. Mary’s Church, Dedham for 50 years.
He was the devoted father of Diane E. Scampoli and her husband Louis of Franklin and Susanne M. Palmacci and her husband Lawrence of Brookline. Brother of Eleanor Campanelli of Millis, John Zonfrelli of Centerville, Anthony Zonfrelli of Bridgewater, Dominic Zonfrelli of Millis and the late Joseph and Paul Zonfrelli. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
