Nicholas E. Vanagel Jr., 30, of Arlington St., Manchester, NH died suddenly Tuesday July 1, 2003 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. Nick, as he was known was born in Lynn, MA on August 25, 1972 the son of Nancy A. Vanagel and the late Nicholas E. Vanagel Sr. Nick had resided in Manchester for the past 10 years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH. He was a 1991 graduate of Londonderry High School. Nick was employed in maintenance for North Atlantic Properties in Manchester. He enjoyed boating, fishing and riding his motorcycles.
He is survived by his mother of Londonderry, two sisters, Michelle Vanagel and Marianne Vanagel both of Londonderry, two brothers, Jeremie Vanagel and Jamie Vanagel both of Londonderry, his maternal grandmother, Catherine Dichirico of Swampscott, MA, his paternal grandmother, Smither Vanagel of Lynn, MA, also his three nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father in November of 2001.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday July 7th at 10:00am in St. Mark’s Church, corner of South Rd, and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. Friends may call on Sunday from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
