WORCESTER-Patrick J. Andersen, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, April 16th after a long illness. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Alice M. (Farrell) Andersen, in 1991. He was born in 1944 to the late Henry H. and Alice M. (Walsh) Andersen. He is survived by a son, James and his wife Stacy Andersen of Auburn; a daughter, Kelly Barbon and her husband Philip of Worcester; two cherished grandsons, Charles and Douglas Barbon; three brothers, Edward, Harry and Henry Andersen, all of Worcester; two sisters, Mary Andersen and AnneMarie Lorion, both of Worcester; several nephews and nieces.
Mr. Andersen worked for Faucher & Masson Liquors for many years. His family would like to thank the nurses at St. Vincent Hospital and the UMass Memorial Hospice program for the kind, compassionate comfort and care he was given in his time of need.
The funeral is Monday, April 20th with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Avenue. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
