KERR Peter H. In West Roxbury, peacefully on April 13, 2009 at age 53 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Jodi (Alderson) Kerr, loving father of Peter S. and Dillon P. He was the son of the late Peter A. Kerr, Esq. and Marie (O’Leary) Kerr, brother of Nancy Schroeder, Susan B. Campbell, Christina M. Kerr, and Lisa M. Kerr also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends. Peter was born in Boston and attended Boston Latin School. He went on to Graduate from Boston College in 1977and remained a diehard B. C. supporter. Played rugby at BC and continued his career after college, following the sport around the world for Boston Rugby Football Club. Also devoted much of his time to coaching youth sports teams and Treasurer of the Parkway Soccer League. Partner of Jacobs, Velella and Kerr, P.C., accounting firm in Needham. He loved Cape Cod and Black Beach most of all, where he spent many summers sailing, fishing and clamming. He was a phenomenal chef and enjoyed fine wines while entertaining family and friends. Peter had a generous spirit , loved life to the fullest and brought people together. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Friday, April 17, at 9 am. followed by a Concelebrated Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 O’Clock. Visiting hours Thursday 3-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
