SALEM, NH - Claire M. (Cidado) Meuse, 72, died Monday morning, Jan. 7, at her Salem home,after a courageous battle with ALS. She was the wife of Ronald E. Meuse, with whom she hadcelebrated a 47th wedding anniversary this past June 12th.
She was born in Somerville, MA, November 9, 1929, a daughter of Anthony and Rose (Short)Cidado. She was raised in Tewksbury, but had lived in Salem since 1954.
Mrs. Meuse and her husband founded and operated Claron Farms in Salem, NH.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Salem.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a step-sister, Elinor “Dolly” Sprague of Tewksbury, astep-brother, Charles Lombard of Lowell, three nephews, Curtis Meuse, Derek Meuse and BrettMeuse, and numerous beloved friends who have cared for and supported her in her battle withALS.
Her Funeral Mass was held Thursday , Jan. 10, in St. Joseph’s Church, Salem, NH. Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery.
