Thomas, Loraine (nee) Mitchell age 77 of Hackensack formerly of Jersey City died Saturday, April 11, 2009. Devoted mother of Sandra DeLoatch, Portia Barber and her husband Freddie, Sr., Michael Thomas and his wife Phyllis. Dear sister of Lorenzo Mitchell and Ola Mae Vaughn. Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Loraine was an Instructor for Maidenform Garment Company in Bayonne, NJ for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Englewood and an Honorary Mother for The Foot of the Cross Christian Church in Yardley, PA. A memorial service will take place on Friday at 11AM at the First Baptist Church of Englewood. All are invited to arrive at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers donations in her name to Hackensack Hospice, Mary Mulligan Fund, 25 East Salem St., Hackensack, NJ 07601 are appreciated by the family.
