Richard P. Ward, 54, of Dartmouth passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a courageous battle against cancer. He was the husband of Dale A. (Sweet) Ward.
Born in Fall River, son of John T. Ward of FL and the late Lorraine M. (Ferron) Ward, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. Mr. Ward was the owner / operator for House Call PC and also worked for Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness Center in Dartmouth. He loved his dogs and working on computers.
Including his father and his wife, survivors include a brother: Mark Ward of New Bedford; 3 sisters: Jeanne Allard of New Bedford, Lisa Whipp of Fairhaven and Arlene Ward of Taunton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Tuesday 5 - 7 P.M.
Interment in Friends Cemetery, Dartmouth.
