Mrs. Inez Reeves Goldfarb, 91, of Powder Springs died Friday, April 10, 2009 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 14 in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Ben Hill County, with the Rev. Harris Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Goldfarb was born October 28, 1917 in Wilcox County to the late Marcus Henry and Sallie Gibbs Reeves. She lived in Powder Springs, for the past 23 years. Mrs. Goldfarb and her late husband Arthur Goldfarb owned and operated restaurants in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Before moving to Florida she had lived in New York City and Englewood, NJ. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was a faithful member of the Macland Baptist Church and the Merry Hearts Sunday School Class.
She is survived by daughters: Bettye Williamson of Powder Springs and Sarah Foster of Peachtree City; sister, Lella Stephens of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Kathy (De) Busbin, Debra (W.E.) Hartness, Melanie (Scott) Carrier and Melanie (Robert) Trillet; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
