Mrs. Janet A. Toomey, 62 of Woburn, formerly of Somerville died on Tuesday in Winchester Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Toomey. Mrs. Toomey was born in Cambridge, the daughter of Rose Reader (Marino) of Woburn and the late Andrew Reader. She was a loving and dedicated daughter, mother and grandmother who loved to dance and cook. She also enjoyed playing Keno. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter: Robin Redman and her husband Damian of Jamaica Plain. Beloved grandmother of Chace and Shayne Redman. She also leaves two sisters, Cecile McCormick and her husband John of Woburn, Eileen Castelli and her husband Steve of Burlington, dear aunt of Jennifer Scali and several other nieces and nephews.Friends may call on Monday from 6 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Janet in St. Catherine Of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville, Tuesday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
