Bobby G. Kay, Sr.
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Monday, April 6, 2009, at the Medical College of Georgia, Mr. Bobby Gene Kay, Sr., 66, of Augusta, GA.
Mr. Kay, Sr. was a native and life long resident of Augusta. He did volunteer and charity work around the CSRA.
Family members include his sons: Bobby G. Kay, Jr. and David Kay, both of Martinez, GA; daughters: Marty Jo Kay Hall and husband Mike, Lauren Elizabeth Kay, both of Martinez, GA; grandchildren: Michael Chandler Kay, Matthew Conner Kay, Madelynn Grace Kay and Michael Hall; sisters: Jimmie Lee Gonnella of Augusta, Dorothy Marion and Shirl Frances Kay; life long friend: Martha M. Meador.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mickey Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Carmine A. Gonnella, Bobby Gene Gonnella, Richard Gonnella, Donnie Price, Tray Price and Richard Krom.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
