Walter Harold Keasler, 86, of Summerville, husband of Irene Anna Beck Keasler died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 1 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o’clock Thursday evening.

Mr. Keasler was born March 31, 1923 in Seneca, SC, son of the late Thomas Keasler and Lillian Wooten Keasler. He was a veteran of the United States Navy retiring as Full Commander. He was a member of the Military Officers Association. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and helping others. He was Grand Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star of South Carolina and Past Master of the Summerville Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Summerville Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are:
3 sisters: Mary Lou Peay, Betty Holland and Margaret Woodall all of Westminster, SC.
2 brothers: Dan Keasler of Atlanta, Georgia and Joe Keasler of North Carolina.
