Manchester-Simone M. Ferland, 93, died April 7, 2009 at the Wellstone House in Raymond following a brief illness.
She was born on January 2, 1916 in Manchester the daughter of Israel and Helene (Brisebois) Ferland and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for J.F. McElwain Shoe Co.
Members of her family include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A funeral liturgy will take place Thursday at 11:00 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
