Obituary

SALEM - Judith Ann “Judy” (Marshall) Kimball, 73, of Salem, wife of the late Robert H. Kimball, died March 31, 2009 at her home following a short illness.

Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Ralph D. and Jennie L. (Pitcher) Marshall. Judy attended the Sheridan and Pickering Schools and graduated from Salem High School with the class of 1953.

Her first employment was with the Beverly Mattress Company. At the time of her retirement, she work at three jobs, retiring from Salem State College in the food court, from a local laundry, as well as from the Bake Shoppe in Danvers.

Judy enjoyed walking with friends around the Salem Willows and Winter Island. She also enjoyed going out with her niece Donna and her family and visits with friends. She also kept in touch with friends and family by telephone. She will be missed by family and friends.

Judy leaves a brother, Ralph Marshall and his family of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, a niece Donna Anaya of Nashua, NH and her family; a son Cameron Tavares, two daughters, Ashley Anaya and Kiana Tavares, a nephew, Eric Churchill of Salem, and Eric’s son, Deacon and his family. She also leaves several friends, including Terry McDonald, Nicki Reisman and Kim Chaisson, all of Salem.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 11 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am, prior to the service. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
