Jesup- Mrs. Teresa Lee “Mam Mam” Eldridge, age 51, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at St. Josephs Hospital in Savannah after a brief illness. She was a native of Eufaula, AL living the past six years in Jesup. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Margaret Parmer.
She is survived by four children: Seth Parmer and Alison J. Arwood of Jesup, Kenna Eldridge and Carlton Davis of Eufaula, AL, Rhaelyn Boycher of Waco, TX, and Shelby Boycher of Eufaula, AL; two grandchildren: Tessa Parmer and Coleman Parmer both of Jesup; one sister: Patty and husband Ricky Bennett of Jesup; two brothers: Ronnie and wife Fran Parmer of Jesup and Reggie Parmer of Waco, TX; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church in Abbeville, AL. Mrs. Eldridge will lie in state two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Whitener, Bruce Turner, DeWayne Backman, Brian Bennett, Chris Brown, and Trey Backman.
