Obituary

Aline M. (Desrochers) Villineau, age 58, of Lowell, died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at her home in Lowell after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Steven A. Villineau.

She was born in Lowell on Dec. 8, 1950, a daughter of Lillian (Noel) Desrochers of Lowell and the late Louis Desrochers. Aline attended Lowell schools including the Greater Lowell Vocational Technical School.

Prior to her illness, she was employed as a manufacturing technician with Genzyme Corp. in Framingham for six years. Prior to that time, she was employed with patient relations at Blair House in Tewksbury and also with Raytheon for eight years.

Aline enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren whom she adored dearly.

Besides her husband Steve and her mother Lillian, she is survived by her children, Greg Johnson and his wife Heather of Chicopee, Tammy Ray and her husband Richard of Lowell, Toby Villineau and his wife Julia of Chelmsford and Todd Villineau of Lowell; a sister, Denise Villineau of Lowell; two brothers, Richard Desrochers and his wife Doreen and Louis Desrochers, Jr and his wife, Diane all of Florida; six grandchildren, Brittney, Trevor, Gavin, Lillian, Noah and Jennifer. Also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Wednesday, April 8 from 4 to 8pm. A Funeral Blessing will be held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick Church, Lowell. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
