SUTTON-Norman L. Anderson, 83, died Saturday, April 4 in Radius Healthcare of Worcester. He leaves two sons, Steven Anderson and his wife Pam of Sutton and Mark Anderson and his wife Cindy of Charlton; a daughter, Nancy Besnia; three grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel and Justine Anderson; a great grandson, Wesley; two sisters, Barbara Johnson in FL and Shirley Frolich of Auburn; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three sisters, Virginia Johnson, Doris Dante and MaryJane Ballard.
He was born in Worcester, son of John and Anna (Price) Anderson and was a US Navy veteran of World War II serving on the USS Guest. Norman retired after many years from Damon Corporation in Needham and previously worked for Rockwood Sprinkler. He enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida. He was a wonderful grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Wed., April 8 at 10 AM in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Visiting hours are Tues., April 7 from 5-7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Massachusetts’s Veteran’s Shelter, 69 Grove St., Worc., MA 01605.
