Obituary

WORCESTER___James J. “The Warrior” Wadowski, 62, of Worcester, died Monday, March 16, 2009 in his home.

He leaves his daughter, Sheree L. Wadowski of Shrewsbury; his son, Derick J. Brodeur of Martha’s Vineyard; a brother, Charles “Chip” Wadowski of Plymouth, MI, a granddaughter, Jessica H. Urban, his father, Joseph Chesitis of Millbury and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, a son of the late Charles Wadowski and Alice (Kowalik) Wadowski Chesitis.

Mr. Wadowski was a warehouseman many years for C & S Grocer’s and later was an oil delivery truck driver and cross country 18 wheel truckdriver before retiring. He was a graduate of Classical High School and the N.E. Tractor Trailer Training School. He was a member of Teamster’s Local 170, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed playing pool and darts going to the beach and the Patriots.

The memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2009 in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street. A calling hour will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. before the service in the funeral home.
