Obituary

Scott W. Tracey, age 27 years, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 30, 2009. Scott was the beloved son of Diane Tracey – McNulty and Philip McNulty. He was the loving brother to Christopher and Joseph McNulty and the grandson of Dorothy Tracey of Stoughton and Nancy Roberts of Hardwick, MA. He was also the Godson of Michael B. Tracey, the best friend and cousin to Richard K. Tracey III and was loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was a Graduate of Stoughton High School class of 2000’, and was also a Graduate of Fitchburg State College class of 2006’, majoring in Criminal Justice. As an athlete at both Stoughton and Fitchburg, Scott became a well known football player, and excelled at the position of defensive end.

Additional to his success as a student-athlete, Scott was an honorable Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During his time as a Marine, he participated in “Operation Enduring Freedom”- Philippines while conducting ground and security operations while assigned to Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines in Zamboanga.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass Friday April 3, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27, Stoughton. Visiting hours are Thursday April 2, 2009 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk St., Stoughton.

Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park,Canton.
