Wyse, Doris H. (Mayo) of Marshfield, March 31, at the age of 82. Loving daughter of the late Rose (Ferreira) and Arthur Mayo. Beloved wife of the late Benedict L. Wyse. Loving mother of Benedict “Buddy” Wyse formerly of Kingston, Kathleen Holte of Marshfield and Karen Mancini of Marshfield, Beloved mother-in-law to Joan Wyse of Carver. Grandmother of Derek Holte and his wife Katie of Marshfield and Michael Holte and his wife Kristin of Marshfield, Jennifer Gallo, Suzanne Lagerquist and her husband Mark, Melinda Wyse, Marissa Broy and her husband Jeff and Nicholas Collins. Great grandmother of Anthony, Rylie, Brenna, Hunter, Morgan, Brady, Sammy and Keigan. Sister of Richard Mayo, Jack Mayo, Marilyn Schuman, Dianne Swart, the late Robert Mayo and the late Arthur Mayo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born in So. Boston, Doris Graduated from Gate of Heaven High School. She worked in various offices and retail establishments until the age of 75. She has lived in Marshfield for 31 years.
Doris was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a comfort to each member of her family.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 4, at 11:00 am in St Ann by the Sea Church 591 Ocean St, Marshfield.
Visiting hours Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (Rte 139) Marshfield.
Interment will be held at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne.
