Barbara Ann Teal, 53, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, March 28, at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M., Friday, April 3, at Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Teal was born October 20, 1955 in Cordele to the late Samuel and Edith Bailey Allison. She grew up in Cordele and graduated from Crisp Academy. Mrs. Teal moved to Fitzgerald in 1993 from Alma and was a former resident of Cross City, FL. She was a former employee of Fitzgerald Underwear and a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Teal is survived by her daughter, Dianne Morgan of Fitzgerald; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott & Meghan Teal and Zane Teal all of Fitzgerald; stepdaughter, Cecilia Russo of Tifton; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jo Allison of Lake Park and Angelique Youngblood of Cordele and a brother, Sammy Allison of Cordele. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Ted Teal.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 323 Pine Ave., Albany, GA, 31707.
