ALBAUGH, CARL E.
Carl Edward Albaugh, 87, of Summerville, widower of Lavella M. Albaugh, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Trident Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 10:30 o’clock at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 206 Central Ave., Summerville, SC. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening, March 31, 2009 from 6 to 8 o’clock at the funeral home.
Mr. Albaugh was born July 27, 1921 in Akron, OH son of the late Ivan Leroy Albaugh and Erma L. McCartney Albaugh. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Wooster College in Ohio. He retired as Vice President of Business Affairs at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, MI.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Concordia University, 4090 Geddes Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
Survivors include one daughter; June Kennedy and her husband Bill of Summerville, two grandchildren; Sarah Roland and her husband Ricky of Florence, Scott Kennedy and his wife Mary Ann of Rock Hill, and one great grandchild; William Kennedy of Rock Hill.
