Maria R. “Mary” Talluto, 88 of Medford, died Sunday after a long illness in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1965 and formerly of Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Vita (Cannarozzo) and Rocco LaMattina. Maria was a Seamstress, at the former Forrester Clothing for many years and retired in 1985. She was a member of the St. Joseph Church Ladies Sodality, Italian/American Club of Medford and the AM Club.
Beloved wife of the late Deonisio Talluto. Devoted mother of Joseph Talluto and his wife Carmella of California, Richard Talluto and his wife Jackie of Reading, Rosalie Bruno and her husband Joseph of Medford, Dennis Talluto and his wife Kathi of North Reading. Also survived by 10 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Josephine Esposito of East Boston, Fannie DeCrecenzo of South Carolina and the late James, Salvatore, Joseph and Anthony LaMattina.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
