WORCESTER__Regina M. (Tomaszewicz) Kostrzeba, 86, of Worcester, died Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Odd Fellows Home, 134 Randolph Rd. Her husband, Joseph S. Kostrzeba died in 1986.
She leaves a sister, Jane Stepien of Worcester; a nephew, Richard Stepien, Sr. and his wife, Karen of West Boylston; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Wacek Tomaszewicz. She was born in Worcester and was a life long resident, Mrs. Kostrzeba was a daughter of Ignacy and Petronella (Ozierynski) Tomaszewicz. She was a homemaker. Regina was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The family would like to thank all the staff members of the Odd Fellows Home for their compassionate care provided to Regina for the last six months.
The private funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 31, from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. At Regina’s request, there are no calling hours and please omit flowers.
