Robert C. Young age 72 of Salem, NH, died Thursday at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, grew up and atteded schools in Hillsboro, NH.
He was a resident of Salem for the past 40 years, formerly of North Andover and Lawrence, MA.
Mr. Young was a retired machine operator for International Tape in Windham, NH. He also worked for the Bolta-General Tire in Lawrence, and Reading, MA. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, was involved in many bowling leagues at Park Place Lanes in Windham, and was very involved in coaching town sports. Mr. Young also served his country in the United States Air Force and Marines.
He was predeceased by his Wife Patricia Ann (Monahan) Young.
He is survived by his Son: Robert & his Wife Debbie Young of Manchester, NH
2 Daughters: Robin & her Husband Philip Trachier of Windham, NH

4 Grandchildren: Elizabeth & Robert A. Young, PJ & Chloe Trachier
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 31 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 30 from 5-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
