Werner Kaehler, Jr., 54, of Plainville formerly of Mansfield passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at the Golden Living Center-Ridgewood Court Nursing Home in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Pamela D. (Bregnard) Bonneau-Kaehler.
Born in Waltham, MA on December 10, 1954 he was a loving son of Barbara (Russell) Kaehler of Chatham and the late Werner Kaehler, Sr.
He grew up in Easton and Chatham, was educated in Easton schools and was a 1972 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational High School. Mr. Kaehler was a self-employed truck driver, and for over 10 years was the proud owner of the Werner Kaehler & Son Trucking Co. in Plainville.
A member of the National Rifleman’s Association, Werner loved the outdoors where he especially enjoyed fishing and attending yard sales. He had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by his loving family. A resident of Plainville for the past 16 years he had formerly made his home in Mansfield.
In addition to his beloved wife and mother he is survived by his devoted children Sierra Amanda Margaret Kaehler of Goffstown, New Hampshire, Mason Christopher Kaehler of Merrimack, New Hampshire and Courtney Bonneau-Schellekens of the Netherlands. He was the cherished brother of Veronika Kaehler-Fox and her husband Dean of Virginia and Linda Kaehler and Suzan Kaehler both of Florida and is also survived by his former wife Elizabeth Monk of Merrimack, New Hampshire and his nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of his family with burial taking place privately at the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield. Visiting hours have been omitted.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
