SPENCER-Donna M. (Guimond) Aube, 48, of 4 Shore Drive died Wednesday, June 4th in Gill. She leaves her mother, Shirley F. (Houston) Guimond of Spencer; 2 brothers, Roy T. Guimond of Shresbury and Thomas Guimond of Boylston; a sister, Marianne Balyk of Holden; 2 nieces, Jessica and Sarah Guimond both of Shrewsbury and 3 nephews, Brett, Matthew and Bryan Balyk all of Holden.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Roy A. Guimond and lived in Spencer for many years. She graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and Magna Cum Laude from Fitchburg State College in 1976. Mrs. Aube taught English as a Second Language at Quinsigamond Community College as well as tutoring children and foreign born adults in language skills. She was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and loved the outdoors.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 10:00 AM in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diocese of Worcester, Bishop’s Fund Office, 49 Elm Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, 01609 or the charity of ones choice.
