NANCY JENKINS KING, a 60 year resident of Hingham and Harwich Port, died peacefully with her family together on March 23, 2009. The beloved wife of John King, Jr. for those 60 years, she was mother of John King, III and his wife Marcia of Hebron, Maine and Pamela K. Johnson and her husband Neil of Duxbury. The cherished grandmother of Joshua, Abigail and Jessica King and Heather Johnson. Daughter of the late Everett H. and Doris (Lansil) Jenkins. Sister of Sally Kimball of Harwich Port and the late Carol Moore. Mrs. King attended House in the Pines School in Norton, MA and was a longtime member of Stone Horse Yacht Club in Harwich Port, Cohasset Golf Club and the Cohasset and Harwich Port tennis clubs. She was a volunteer and former officer of the South Shore VNA and the Florence Crittendon League.
A Memorial Service for family and friends will be conducted on Monday, March 30th at 11 AM at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 172 Main St., Hingham.
