Dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother


TEWKSBURY: Brenda A. (McDevitt) Waible, age 69, a Tewksbury resident for 33 years, formerly of Billerica and Woburn, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009 at home.
She was the wife of Joseph F. Waible, with whom she would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on June 26th.
Born in Woburn on January 11, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Dickinson) McDevitt.
Brenda was raised in Woburn, attended Woburn schools and graduated from Woburn High School in 1959.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Parish of Tewksbury.
Brenda dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by nine children, Patricia Tata of Haverhill, Joseph Waible and his wife Seleina of Methuen, James Waible and his wife Connie of Nashua, NH, Alice Burke and her husband Steve of Fremont, NH, Doris Re and her husband John of Nashua, NH, Brenda Waible of Tewksbury, Sara Panzeri and her husband Nicholas of Billerica, Joanne Waible and Kristin Waible both of Tewksbury; seventeen grandchildren, Jason Tata, Matthew Tata, Maria Tata, Jordyn Waible, Joseph Waible, Jr., Jeremy Waible, James Waible, Jr., Nathan Waible, George Gagnon, Cameron Burke, Madison Burke, Evan Burke, Hailee Re, Ryan Re, Samantha Panzeri, Baby Boy Panzeri and Adriana Waible; her nephew, William Bryan and his wife Lani;
Mrs. Waible was the mother of the late John Waible and sister of the late John McDevitt and Doris Bryan.
Calling hours Wednesday, March 25th, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Thursday, March 26th, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Tewksbury Fire Dept., c/o Gift Fund, 27 Town Hall Ave., Tewksbury, MA 01876 are suggested.
