Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church West Bridgewater at 10 am. Burial in Pine Hill West Bridgewater. Obituary
Mrs. Kane died Friday evening at the Falmouth Hospital after a brief illness. She had been a resident of East Falmouth for the past 21 years, previously living in Brockton for many years.
She was born in Rockland daughter of the late James T. and Ellen (Sheehan) Croak. She was raised and educated in Rockland and Abington and was a graduate of Rockland High School and Boston University.Before her marriage she was a business teacher at Rockland High School. Later she was a teacher in the Wooden Shoe and Happy Hours private kindergartens in Brockton.
She was an avid reader and loved gardening, crossword puzzles and traveling.She had been a member of St. Margaret’s Women’s Guild in Brockton for many years.
She is survived by her daughter and son, a granddaughter and grandson and several nieces and nephewsShe was the sister of the late Timothy and Patrick Croak
