Obituary

SPENCER; Robert J. Fecteau, 66, of 101 Ash St., died Saturday, March 21, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, Carolyn J. (Marcello) Fecteau, two daughters; Christina J. Pickett of Worcester, Renee J. Fecteau of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., two sons, Raymond J. Fecteau of San Francisco, CA., Robert J. Fecteau, II of Medford, two sisters; Pauline Casavant and her husband Wallace of Spencer, Vivian Bartlett and her husband Robert of Worcester, 3 grandchildren; Erin Power, Raymond and Ryan Pickett and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Raymond and Ida (Audette) Fecteau.
Mr. Fecteau was an International Sales Manager for 25 years at Reed Rico in Holden, retiring in 2004. He was a graduate of Holy Name High School in Worcester and of Worcester State College. He served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish in Spencer and served on the Parish Council and its Finance Committee and was a lecture and altar server. He was an avid sportsman and a member of the MA Wildlife Association, MA Audubon Society and previously served on the Spencer Conservation Commission. He was a member of the Laurelwood Riding Club in Spencer and the Minuteman Model "A" Club of MA.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 25, from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer.
