Bette A. Plante, 68, of Great Road, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Woonsocket Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Veronica E. (Walsh) Koly. She had been a lifelong resident of North Smithfield.
She was a member of the Northern RI Council of the Arts. In her early years she had worked at the RI Department of Health. She retired from Fontaine and Croll Law Firm.
She is survived by her children Bette J. Plante and Paul E. Plante, both of North Smithfield.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11:00am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
