OBITUARY
Westminster
Luna Marion (Crafts) Wiley, 93, of Westminster, died Saturday March 14, at
the home of her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Elwin Shepard in
Lunenburg.
Besides her daughter and son-in-law, she leaves her son and daughter-in-
law Charles A. and Sally Wiley of Ashburnham; her daughter and son-in-
law Linda and Richard Dorval of Florida and North Carolina. Her
grandchildren and their spouses, Craig and Annette Dorval and Barry and
Kim Dorval in North Carolina. Allan and Sandra Shepard of Brookline, N.H.
and Patricia Kilpatrick of Leominster. She also leaves her great
grandchildren Austin and James Dorval in North Carolina, Nicholas and
Samantha Shepard of Brookline, N.H. and Mackenzie Luna Baxley of
Leominster. Her husband Augustus H. Wiley died in 1980.
Luna graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1934. She was an
accomplished baker and worked for sixteen years at the Old Mill
Restaurant. She retired in 1977.
Luna lived for 50 years in Westminster. She was one of the original tenants
at Wellington of Westminster, where she left many good friends, especially
Beryl, Lauri, Mary and Thelma. She was an avid reader and probably read
every large print book in the Westminster library. She enjoyed traveling and
many winters in Florida with her daughter Linda and her family. She was a
member of the Westminster Friendship Club, the Westminster Historical
Society and WOW, Walkers of Westminster.
Luna donated her body to University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in her
memory may be made to the Furbush Memorial Library, Westminster, Ma.
