Luther C. Kottmyer, 85, died Sunday June 15, 2003 at Wingate nursing home in Andover, Mass. He was a machinist at General Electric in Lynn, Mass., before retiring in 1980. Born in Dover, Pa., Mr. Kottmyer lived in Derry for the past 23 years and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry.
He is survived by his wife Arlene H. (Haggerty) Kottmyer; son John Charles Kottmyer of Lawrence, Mass.; daughters Mary Ellen Kottmyer of Wilmington, Mass., and Diane M. Kottmyer of Winchester, Mass.; brother Kenneth F. Kottmyer of Dover; PA, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Tuesday June 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
