METHUEN - Albert D. Jackson age 81 died Monday March 16, 2009 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA and Methuen, he was the son of Thomas H. and Priscilla (Illingworth) Jackson. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. For 37 years he was employed at Lucent Technologies formerly Western Electric in North Andover. He was also a parishioner at Saint Monica's Church in Methuen. He was an avid 45's player, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and building model airplanes.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Maureen T. (Jordan) Jackson of Methuen, MA.
He is survived by his children Timothy D. Jackson of Methuen, Kathleen A. Rennie and her husband William of Salem, NH and Maureen E. Gordon and her husband Matthew also of Salem, NH
Sister Priscilla Nolet of Seabrook, NH.
Grandchildren William A. Rennie III, Meaghan E. Rennie, Christopher J. Rennie and Kelsey A. Gordon.
Several nephews and 1 niece.
Albert was predeceased by brother and sisters, Thomas H. Jackson and his wife Lillian, Maude Jenkins and her husband Thomas and Margaret Arnold and her husband O. Albert and also his brother-in-law Arthur Nolet
The family of Albert would like to extend thier deepest gratitude to the physicians, nurses and hospital staff of Saints Medical Center for the care and compassion to Albert and his family during his illness.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30a.m. at St. Monica's Church in Methuen, MA with a burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen, MA.
