Alice C. Marks, 81, of Rockingham Road in Derry, died Tuesday, June 17, at Integrated Health Services of Derry. Mrs. Marks was born in Fall River, Mass., on Oct. 29, 1921, the daughter of the late Antone and Adeline Rodrigues. She had been a resident of Derry since 1984, formerly living in Medford, Mass.She was employed as a house parent aide at the Kuester House in Derry for 11 years. Having a strong artistic ability, Mrs. Marks enjoyed arts and crafts.
She is survived by her daughters Joan Campbell of Derry and Carol Carter of Sanford, Maine; grandchildren James Campbell, Raymond Carter and Melissa Carter; brother Edward Rodrigues of Cape Cod, Mass.; sisters Ruth Hastings of Ohio and Lydia Stickney of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was the widow of Roy Marks, a Navy World War II veteran who died in 1982.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 20, from 9 to 11 a.m. in Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, Mass.
