Obituary

DRACUT - Murray D. Albert, 79, a resident of Dracut, and former longtime Caribou, ME resident, died Tuesday March 17th at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell.

He was born in Caribou, ME on May 28, 1929, and he was the son of the late Eugene and Eva (Cowett) Albert. He received his education in Caribou schools.

Mr. Albert served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was the owner and operator for many years of the former Albert's Otter Brook Garage on Van Buren Rd., in Caribou.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and reading.

He is survived by a daughter, Tina Albert and her husband Robert Greene of Dracut; and a son, Bruce Albert of Dresden Mills, ME.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from 7:30 until 8:30 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 AM at St. Francis Church in Dracut. Interment in MA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Those who wish may make donations in his name to the the Alzheimer's Association of MA, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
