Mr. Thomas R. Nugent, age 69 of Medford , died Monday in Lahey Clinic Medical Center Burlington. He is the husband of Patricia (Dentamaro) Nugent with whom he shared more than 38 years of marriage. Born in Ogdensburg NY, son of the late Arthur and Edith (Abbott) Nugent he was educated in NY and later went on to Syracuse University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1971. Mr. Nugent was a veteran of the United States Navy and served as a Master Chief Petty Officer during the Vietnam Era and later was a member of the Naval Reserve. He was a writer and also worked in public relations. In his spare time he enjoyed watching movies, reading, traveling and fishing. In earlier years he had lived in London, Morocco and Spain. In addition to his wife, he leaves a sister: Ida Maloney and her husband Tim of NY, two brothers: Fred Nugent and his wife Karen of MD, George Nugent and his wife Linda of NY.
