Madelyn J. Kingsbury, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away June 16, 2003 after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends who loved her. She leaves behind four daughters, Sue Knight and Barbara Apostolou of Baton Rouge, LA, Joyce Agarwal of Bedford NH and Emily Marshall of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandsons, Jay and Krishan Agarwal and baby Nicholas Marshall; special nephew, Jim Dietrich of Lebanon, PA and her dear cat, Dottie. She was born and raised in Lebanon, PA and was a resident of Laconia for the past 27 years.
Up until her illness, Maddie worked at Central and Northern Title Company of Laconia and was a dedicated participant at the Wellness Center.
Her family wishes to extend its deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers of Lakes Region General Hospital, specifically North 4 and ICU for their loving support and care.
A Memorial Gathering was held in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. Thursday from 2 to 4 PM. Rev. George Hankins-Hull, Spiritual Care Coordinator at LRGHealthcare led a service of remembrance at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LRGHealthcare, 80 Highland St., Laconia NH 03246.
