Helen A. Ouellette – 84

Lawrence – Helen A. Ouellette of Lawrence died unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 13, 2009 after a brief period of declining health.

Born in Lawrence on May 12, 1924 to Deziel and Rose (Nolin) Audesse, she grew up in Andover and was educated in local schools.

Helen retired in 1988 from Western Electric (AT&T / Lucent Technologies) after having worked there for 25 years.

Her greatest joys were spending time with her children and their families as well as her “shopping days” with her sisters.

Helen shared 43 years of marriage with her husband Roland who died in 1988. She is survived by her loving children – Lorraine and her husband Kenny Proposki of Methuen MA; Ronnie and his wife Nancy (Seaman) of Burlington MA; and Donna Bastian of Salem NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian Proposki of Methuen MA; Chrissy (Jordan) Cicchino of Bedford MA; Kerry (Ouellette) and her husband Dan Johnson and their dog “Buddy” of Billerica MA; Adam and his wife Kathi (Wunderli) of Manchester NH; and Erika Bastian of Salem NH. In addition, she is survived by a great granddaughter, Alicia Cicchino of Bedford MA.

She was predeceased by her brother Maurice and leaves behind her sisters, brother, and sister-in-law – Rose Matthes of Methuen MA; Terry and Joe Milone of Methuen MA; Lil and Jerry Bedard of Methuen MA; Dot Weiner of Columbus OH; Henry and Nancy Audesse of Wenham MA, and Pauline Ouellette of Salem NH. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew her.
