Andrew C. Teebagy of West Roxbury, passed away on March 13, 2009. Born and raised in Boston, Andrew worked for 30 years as a garment cutter in the family business, Shibley and Finer. Later, he worked for 10 years for the MWRA. His hobbies included reading, and watching movies, with Dances With Wolves and the Godfather topping his favorite movie list. Andrew loved to go for walks and spend time in the sun. He enjoyed socializing with friends and neighbors. Above all, Andrew adored his family, and spending time with his grandchildren. He could not have been more proud of his children and grandchildren, and he made sure they knew it.
Andrew was the dear and devoted husband of Janet (Shibley). Loving father of Dianne DiFonso of Abington, Andrew C. Teebagy Jr. and his wife Linda of Burlington, and Very Rev. John K. Teebagy and his wife Joan of Westwood. Adored grandfather “Jid” of Anthony DiFonso and his wife BethAnne, Kayla Wieners and her husband Steven, and Katherine, Alexander, Elizabeth, and Nathaniel Teebagy. Dear brother of Mabel Haddad of Norwood, Annie Shimp of Carver and the late Elias, Rizkalla, Nicholas, George, Thomas, and Mary Teebagy. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Andrew's Funeral Service was held Tuesday March 17th at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. WEST ROXBURY. Visiting hours were held Monday MArch 16th at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. WEST ROXBURY.
