Jones, Benjamin H. Jr. (“Hap”), of Plymouth, MA and Lynchburg, VA. March 7th, age 87. Beloved husband of the late Helen Claire (Hilliard) Jones. Father of Robert and his wife Paula Foster of Plymouth, MA, Wendy and her husband James Ballengee of Lynchburg, VA and the late Patricia Jones. He also leaves a brother, Arthur Jones of Dover, NH and a sister, Ellen Nickerson of Portsmouth, NH, 4 grandchildren, Korin, Matthew, Jennifer and Lauren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Jones was born in York, Maine to Benjamin Sr. and Doris (Avery) Jones. He served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He was a pilot, a self-employed electrician and auto mechanic, a county building inspector, an air conditioning expert, and he had a lifelong passion for the game of golf.
