Obituary

Roman Orsky of Newton and Elmore, VT (formerly of Needham) died Tuesday, March 3, 2009. He was 80.

He leaves his wife of 53 years Antoinette Orsky, sons Alexander of Newton, and Clark and wife Lee of Underhill, VT; granddaughters Giuliana and Alexandra; his sister Ilona Hajkova and family of the Czech Republic. He also leaves his beloved Rottweiler Heidi.

Roman was born in the Czech Republic and immigrated to the U.S. in 1949. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for many years in the liquor distribution business and then as a realtor in Needham. He was devoted to his friends and family. He enjoyed most the time he spent in Vermont and had many friends in the Elmore community.

A memorial service will be held at the Newton Cemetery Chapel 791 Walnut Street, Newton Centre, on Saturday March 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
